My home:Bedroom

This weekend we got a lot of snow and I can´t really understand that I was sitting outside having lunch with some friends in Malmö just two weeks ago and it felt like spring. I am longing for the spring and the summer, and therefore I could not resist looking back at some pictures from our bedroom. Our bedroom is one of the rooms I like most in our old house (built ~1920). It has so much light during spring and summer and I just love it.  

I like the two chairs that I have found at second hand, and I have plenty of the black baskets that is bade of old car tires. In our bedroom I have a bunch of magazines in the basket, but I also use them for flowers during the summer. It is just a perfect product and affordable. I think I bought it at "Rusta" for about 15 Euro, but also available at interior design shops for twice as much.

Spring feelings from Malmö apartment

Look at these lovely pictures taken by talented Petra Bindel that I found via the blog A Merry Mishap. It sure gives me spring feelings and all a like to do now is to pack all Christmas stuff and bring in tulips and pastel colours in our house. This wonderful apartment is located in the city heart of Malmö and the owner according to A Merry Mishap is a girl called Emma Persson Lagerberg. And according to the same source, the drummer of Cardigans lives here!!!

This is a home that I get truly inspired from with all the light. I love the mix of chairs in the first picture and the small things here and there. How about you? Is this your style?

Maybe I love this interior so much due to the lack of light during the long winter here in Sweden. Well now we are targeting the best time of year according to me and many others, spring and summer with a lot of new energy and hopes. Hope you will get a great start of the weekend.
