DIY & Give-away: Week Calendar

So finally I can share my latest DIY project and my Give-away to you this week. My DIY is the week calendar that I have mentioned earlier that I have had in mind. With this DIY it is easier to plan the coming week, both related to dinners, activities etc for the family. Below are some pictures from our kitchen where the calendar is located.

This Give-away you can download and print yourself, you find it here. The size is 50 x 70 cm and the frame I have used, is the one from IKEA called Ribba. Ribba is available in different colors such as black and white, and when you have it behind glass (as picture 2 above), you can easy write on it.

We have used the same kind of frame as for our other posters in the kitchen. The poster below is from Fotografiska and Vee Speers is the creator.

Have you ever thought about how much nice things there are to get for your kitchen? To get that special touch!! Today I have collected a lot of nice inspiration for you that you can decorate and pimp-up the kitchen with.

Some of the kitchen accessories above, I have spotted in different stores. The lamp on the first picture I have seen at the store Granit, as well as the shelf's in metal in the last picture. The KitchenAid (second picture) is something to die for....Still on my wish list.

Black walls and our home!

Hi all and hope you had a great weekend! As so many times, we have had 110% speed through Saturday and Sunday, and suddenly there is a new week again.

But after these two days off from work, the week calendar is ready and created. Jihoo! If everything goes according to plan, I will print it today.

Today, I am having a theme, Black walls as I found these lovely pictures at Pinterest. The first picture is so cute, and with Valentine´s touch. Any special plans with your dear ones for Valentine?! I have to start plan right away.

And the last picture is from my own home, that has got black walls lately. The kitchen.

A String shelf on the wall, and the chairs by the bar is from BoConcept. The grey lamps is Aröd from IKEA and is a special DIY project as they does not exist as wall lamps. I just love this construction that we made.

Bolig magazine

Just arrived back from Paris yesterday, landed in Kastrup, Copenhagen and got such a longing for visiting Copenhagen soon. Even if we have just a little more than an hour to this big city we are very seldom there for some reason. Have to change that for 2013!!!

And talking about Denmark I just have to share some pictures from Bolig magazine. This mix, is the one I love most I think in interior design. Mix of dark coloured wood and pastels, and a lot of light coloured walls.

Above an old "Wegner" chair, ohh like to have one of those.

Also like the big letter on the wall. Should not be such a hard DIY right?

Colorful living and Paris!

Hi Monday and hello Paris!

I am looking forward three days of work in this lovely city. Have you been to Paris? Any tip of restaurants or favorite places to visit in the evenings? I have been here once before, but it was quite some time ago and I really would like to know the city much more. This weekend I started my Paris trip by entering the blog French by Design.

I found a lot of colorful inspiration at the blog and the Pinterest page from French by Design such as  the kitchen below and the living room.

I am being more and more convinced to bring in some colors at home. I think I have to run and buy some paint very soon, and start with some furniture here at home. Ohh I would need 5 days weekend and 2 days of work to have time for all projects at home. How about you?
