DIY & Give-away: Week Calendar

fredag, februari 22, 2013

So finally I can share my latest DIY project and my Give-away to you this week. My DIY is the week calendar that I have mentioned earlier that I have had in mind. With this DIY it is easier to plan the coming week, both related to dinners, activities etc for the family. Below are some pictures from our kitchen where the calendar is located.

This Give-away you can download and print yourself, you find it here. The size is 50 x 70 cm and the frame I have used, is the one from IKEA called Ribba. Ribba is available in different colors such as black and white, and when you have it behind glass (as picture 2 above), you can easy write on it.

We have used the same kind of frame as for our other posters in the kitchen. The poster below is from Fotografiska and Vee Speers is the creator.

The lucky one to get the Alphabet poster from Katrin Bååth is Linda Björling. Congratulations to you Linda!
The poster will be delivered to you soon, I hope you find a special place for it.

Lately it has been very little DIY projects here, but I have one ready for you at Friday this week. Something little that you can get yourself if you like. But first, I have to share this inspiring DIY from Nina Holst at Stylizimo. A 'look a like' to Svensk Tenn Elephant pillow. What a perfect DIY!

If you like to read more about where Nina found the textile to her pillow etc, visit her blog, Stylizimo here. See you all tomorrow again! Today cross country skiing is waiting as well as downhill skiing. Can't wait!

Relax, the weekend is coming!

fredag, februari 15, 2013

Valentine yesterday, and I hope you got a lot of love!

Entering the weekend with full speed, I found these pictures that made me relax and slow down a little. Just lovely and the Stockholm carpet (from IKEA) on the first picture. It is just a must have.

Today's theme is "sit down and relax", which you basically can do on all the pictures below :)

Inspiration from, Live a lot

onsdag, januari 30, 2013

Hi Wednesday and my last day in Paris! Time to get back to Sweden again. Talking about Sweden and Swedish bloggers I found a new (for me at least) beautiful blog called Live a lot, with nice pictures taken by the owner, Malin Lindner. Enjoy these beautiful pictures. I got a lot of inspiration and maybe something similar might show up here in our home, like the knobs on the drawer.

Such a lovely home, I will absolutely continue to follow Malin. Malin also runs her own business, she makes her own jewelries that you can find here

Eager to get going

måndag, januari 21, 2013

Hi Monday! Planning and preparing for a brand new week after a fab weekend with a lot of sunshine. Hope you had a great weekend too.
This week I am eager to get going with a lot of projects. I want to create my own poster for the kitchen that I then plan to order and print. A poster that will structure the weeks more, and help with the dinner plans. Will share it with you later when ready.

Then I have a kitchen table in mind..... My plan is to create something similar as the first picture below, but maybe in white. I think we would be able to keep the legs from our existing dinner table and buy two wider boards just as you can see in the picture below. I find it very hard to find the right size of tables actually. So yes, this is definitely one of the next DIY projects that we have in mind. Let´s see if we will be able to make it this spring or later :)

Source unknown, but found it via Pinterest
Also love the mix of chairs above. Makes it so much alive!
Some more kitchen inspiration below.

At the same time I am about finishing our next banisters that we have created. This time it is the banisters that are placed to the second floor. The previous ones we did you can find here.

Ohh there is so many projects this spring, I have just mentioned some of them. It is just to get started!!! How about you? Do you have any ongoing or plans for projects at home?

Have a lovely Monday!

Therese Sennerholt Shop. Grafiskt vackert.
