Outdoor times

Great weather here today and therefore we could not resist to go out in the sun and start with the garden. Next year we hope to make some changes outside, so this spring and summer we collect a lot of ideas to what to do outside. Here are some nice pictures via Pinterest.

More Tine K!

I would like to bring in more things from lovely Tine K interior to our home. Especially now when Spring is here (almost 12 degrees yesterday!!!). But right now our plans and energy goes to repainting the house outside and quite much planning work is needed. Test colours at the wall, investigate what colour type to use and so on. Toady our house from 1923 is yellow. And it will be (we think..) almost white with a touch of  light grayish-brown. But now, let´s focus at the inside. AprillAprill - The queen of flea market findings!

Say hello to family Gartmyr, and then feel welcome to have a rounded tour in their house.

Johanna lives with her family in Helsingborg (in south of Sweden) in a house from 1924, and is the owner of the blog AprillAprill. She works as designer at Tretorn, but at her free time, she also creates posters and illustrations that she sells in her shop. The family has the most personal home, and I just have to say that Johanna has to be the queen of flea market findings, because her home has nice findings in every corner. Just take a look below!

Inspiration from Denmark

Well again, I will share some inspiration from Denmark. This time, it is the home of the stylist Camilla Tange Paylecke. A home that is very personal, and a beautiful mix of old furnitures. She is using white as base, but has so many nice details that lights up the home. Many design classics as well, like the Eames chair. The lamp (rabbit), that is spotted in the first picture, could for example be yours via this wonderful webshop.

Waiting for the spring to sit in our DIY sofa!

Today I have a day off from work! Arranging with different things at home and hoping that the spring will come with sunny afternoons soon. Right now, I am looking forward to sit in our own DIY sofa at our terrace. This is the biggest DIY we have done so far for sure! I am happy for the sofa and the colour has been even more beautiful know during winter. Giving the sofa that special patina.

Amazing before and after!

Well look at this makeover that is absolutely amazing from Denmark.  In this house, there are two families living, Knudsen and  Halberg - three generations under the same roof. And what a makeover if you take a look at the third picture below.

Well I got inspired and we actually took a look at our own before and after pictures from our home. But mostly due to that we have carpenters coming this week and will change two windows. Quite some changes has been made here as well. It is good to remind yourself what you actually have done. Take care all!

I was thinking that a good start of the weekend was to share these nice pictures from my favorite apartment agency, Alvhem. I found a beautiful apartment with a light atmosphere but with some sparkling colors here and there. Take a look and enjoy. So many design items in this apartment. Kay Bojesen wooden ape, String shelf, bumling lamp (in white) just to mention a few of them. Well there is a birthday coming up....hint hint in May. Hello there!

How was your Easter holiday? Ohhh... I had a longer break from the blog than I planned to. But now back again and will show some inspiration I found for bathrooms via Pinterest and a girl with a lovely taste. Beautiful bathroom pictures, relaxing and so light.
